MP HSTET Notification Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the MP HSTET 2023 are as follows:
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Aspirants should have completed a B.Ed degree from a recognized university or institution.
- Candidates should be between the age of 21-40 years.
MP HSTET Exam Pattern
The MP HSTET 2023 exam will consist of two papers,
- Paper-I
- Paper-II.
- Paper-I is for candidates who wish to teach classes 9 and 10
- Paper-II is for candidates who wish to teach classes 11 and 12.
- Paper-I will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of one mark each, with a total of 150 marks. The examination time 2.5 Hrs
- Paper-II will also consist of 150 MCQs of one mark each, with a total of 150 marks. The Examination Time 2.5 hours.
Madhya Pradesh High School Teacher Eligibility Test Syllabus
The syllabus for both papers is different.
Paper-I will cover topics such as
- Child Development and Pedagogy
- Language-I (Hindi)
- Language-II (English)
- Mathematics
- Environmental Studies
Paper-II will cover topics such as
- Child Development and Pedagogy
- Language-I (Hindi)
- Language-II (English)
- chosen subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Commerce, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or Home Science).
Madhya Pradesh High School Teacher Eligibility Test Important Dates
The application process for the MP HSTET 2023 will start on 18 May 2023, and the last date to apply will 1st June 2023. The exam will be conducted on 2 August 2023.
- 30 am to 11.30 am Shift I.
- 3 pm to 5 pm Shift II
MP HSTET Application Process
- Candidates can apply for the exam online by visiting the official website of the MPPEB.
- They need to fill in the application form
- Pay the application fee online.
- The application fee for General category candidates is Rs. 600,
- while for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, it is Rs. 300.
